About Us

Why did we start National Hope Care Services?
While starting this business on my own- everyone wondered and asked- you are a professional in IT, then why do you want to start your business in support services?
The answer I want to give here is that I have been working as a support worker for a while now. I have worked both in the disability and aged care sector. What I didn’t like was- we are running around the clock to finish the tasks, but when a client wants to talk to us and share their stories of life or they want to share something with us.
It’s being told by superior people that we have work to do, and we can’t sit here, ‘Come, let’s go and start work’.
This thing hurts me till now. I remember, whenever I was sitting next to someone when they really wanted to share something- they were feeling really good.
After listening to one client’s story of life, he gave me a hug and told ‘thank-you’, nobody has shown effort here to talk to me. So, we are running to get our work done but we are not providing services to our clients which they mostly need.
My one client- she was Italian and she didn’t know English. So we had a kind of language barrier between us, but whenever I was going to feed her, I used to hold her hand and tried to make her laugh by myself. She got tears in her eyes and held my hand back and started telling me something in Italian- but I was not able to understand anything. But somehow I felt good that I can provide emotional support to my clients.
According to me, more than anything, a person needs a cheerful person and good emotional support, a carer who can listen to them without getting tired. Work is important, but yeah, working in that way that you can cheer your client up as well.
My main motive is to bring a little change in this society. I want to train my potential co- workers to provide quality services that will bring a little change in their lives.
So these are our little efforts where we make someone’s life really easy and happier. And what we get in return are the ‘Blessings, Love & Satisfaction’.
